Hirbat al-Wahadinah خربة الوهادنه
An old village closes to Ajloun. It is a part of Christian pilgrim to holy land. It was built before at least 3000 year. It is one of oldest areas in Jordan and most of its families are Jordanian Origin. They own a wide range of acres around them. Its people are too generous and considered as leader to Ajloun Mountain.
Most of people there work in military or agriculture and again they consider Jordan as the only place in World for them.
Kherbet Al-wahadneh is mixed of both Muslim 70% and Christian 30% and both are of the same family in organ.
Education is very high there no illiterate at all and most of old men can read and write because of an old school in Mosque which was found for a long time for both Muslims and Christians. Many stories about that old school which was called KUTTAB like way of payment was eggs and breads, way of punishments, no note books no books and all were learning one book our holy Quran.
It is not far form Palestine it's around 7 KM from Palestine borders.
I can add more if any body like from me to add about history or geography of Kherbet Al-wahadneh.
The holy place of Christian pilgrim is the place where Prophet Elias was born. He was born in cave close to of Kherbet Al-wahadneh by 4 Km, Most of Christian all over the world does not know who is this prophet but they know Elijah in holy bible while different names to same prophet.
